A Christmas Fair(ytale)

Our first full blown Christmas Fair since 2019…. and boy were we back with a bang!

From Reception’s busy mulled wine and tea and coffee keeping everyone warm and the perfect partnering for Y3’s well-stocked cafe, to the glorious grotto from the year 1 elves, to the y6 games and crafts taking plenty of tokens to Y2 on the nearly new and Year 5 keeping our tummies full with their brilliant BBQ and Year 4 on the door and tombola.

We’re pretty confident a wonderful day was had by all. And that more importantly we raised a record amount of money. Nadine is busy counting the 💰 but we know that we’ve raised over £5,100 so far this Christmas and there’s still time to raise more with the Christmas Raffle, Y6 wine boxes, the 2023 calendar and Christmas Tress from the Thatched House!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help - encouraging volunteers and arranging such brilliant stands for each of your years. As Sara said the other day… “Teamwork makes the PTA work” - and days like today make that a total reality. Thank you all and enjoy putting your feet up (and trees up) tomorrow 🎄 Lastly, a HUGE shout out to Nadine for managing us all and bringing her magical touch. Have a wonderful weekend.

Love Penny & Laura xx
