easyfundraising - Get Started

Now we are letting you into a secret…. this is by far the easiest way to donate to the John Bett's PTA and it doesn’t cost you a penny.

easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into free donations for the PTA.

How does it work? It’s a form of affiliate marketing and when you shop at over 4,700 online retailers - from Sainsburys, Tesco, M&S, John Lewis, Booking.com, Argos and so many more - they will then make a small donation to say “thank you”. This donation (or commission) ranges from 1% to a whopping 12.5% of the value of what you have bought. There are no hidden catches or charges for you - just a FREE donation for the PTA.

As well as your favourite high street stores - it also covers all the major supermarkets so if you do a weekly shop online you could donate every week without noticing. And I’ve just spotted that JustEast donate 12.5% which almost makes that takeaway delivery guilt-free!

So far, we’ve raised over £6,000 through easyfundraising and with Christmas around the corner we would really love to encourage you to set this up before you start your Christmas shopping. And as the name suggests… it’s really EASY!

What we’d love you to do:

Step 1 - Please sign up today through this link - https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/johnbettspta/

Step 2 - Install the Donation Reminder on your laptop - this means you can shop as normal online and each time you’re on a site that is eligible you will get a pop-up reminder, and all you need to do is click on the pink button to activate the donation and then shop as normal.

Step 3 - If you also shop on your phone you can download the easyfundraising app from your app store and if you search for the retailer you want through there you will also be able to donate for all purchases you make on your phone.

Have a look around and see which of your favourite brands are on there - and please try and use it for some of your Christmas shopping this year, we will ALL appreciate it in the new year when we can buy more supplies for the kids.

Warmest wishes,

The PTA Team x
